New Shop!
|
Hello Everyone,
We hope you all had a great summer. We spent it working on purchasing and setting up a new race car shop. As well as racing with the Frantic Fueler of course. We are very excited about the new shop because it is a great opportunity to continue to grow our team and make my drag racing dream come true. Take a look at the new pictures in the photos tab.
Thanks for visiting our page.
Have a safe and very happy holidays!

Update from Marina
|
Hello All!
It’s been pretty crazy the past few months. We were not able to test yet, but we have pretty much ALL the pieces of the racecar. The Racepak arrived not long ago so we have been working on wiring the dragster even more. With the weather in Chicago turning cold we look forward to making noise in the spring. This winter we are focusing on finding good people that are looking for marketing opportunities. With the help of our friend Mike Harnack we are creating contacts in the right places to obtain sponsorship for 2014. Please contact us if you are interested [email protected] . As always I really appreciate the support from everyone!

Thank you!

It feels like Christmas

Update from Marina....
It feels like Christmas a lot around here lately. Thankfully not because of the snow anymore, but because of all the boxes that keep showing up! I am very excited to finally test the dragster this summer sometime. With only one more year left of college I am multi-tasking to the best of my ability with all the postitions I hold (student/intern/racecar owner & driver). Basically, means I am working constantly in the day driving from school to work to pick up clothes for the racecar crew. It's all worth it though!
The engine arrived shortly after Pomona thanks to Tony Zizzo who transported it. The engine came all the way from California because Jerry Darien built it, he has been a great help in the past few months and I couldn't be happier to have one of the best in the business willing to help out a 20 year old girl from the Midwest with a big dream.
I also received the MSD ignition parts and my safety equipment from Simpson. Safety first! I have been working on getting the seatbelts mounted in the car at the shop as well as beginning to put the Frantic Fueler back together for the season. Even if the car isn't complete yet, I'm glad racing season has started I'm going to be travelling to as many Division 3 Lucas Oil Series events as possible as well as FF races, XDRL, NHRA and ADRL (in the area). It's really an addiction.
As always it is a work in progress, but we are leaps closer to testing this summer!
Have trailer - will travel

It's always great to have wonderful relationships with people as they can and will lead to opportunities. Trailer now acquired!
2012 Update
|
Marina spent her summer elbow deep in clutch dust as part of Frantic Fueler race team. She was responsible for warm-ups and mentored in the right side motor/clutch duties. In addition, she was behind the wheel of the tow vehicle on race day.
This past week she purchased a 36-foot gooseneck trailer. She is very excited about the purchase and the continued progress being made on her car.
